Sustainability.
We work rock in mining, quarries and civil works. We measure what we generate, control what we consume and leave skills behind in the communities where we operate.
Environment
Every blast and every drilling front has variables we measure and control. These are the five we track on every site.
-
Vibration
Seismograph measurement and blast design adjusted to the peak particle velocity limits set for each site.
-
Dust
Road and access watering. Drilling with dust collection on units equipped for it.
-
Noise
Air overpressure recording on blasts. Firing times agreed with clients and nearby communities.
-
Waste
On-site segregation. Oils, filters and explosives packaging are removed as hazardous waste by a licensed carrier.
-
Fuel
Consumption recorded per unit and per site to detect deviations and plan maintenance.
Community
Our people come from the areas where we work. We support the communities and schools where we operate.
-
Local employment
We prioritize staff from San José de Jáchal and the towns near each site.
-
Local suppliers
Fuel, catering, lodging and services are sourced in the operating area whenever possible.
-
Schools
We support schools in the communities where we operate with contributions and activities.
People
Working with explosives and heavy equipment requires ongoing training. Training is part of operations, not a one-off event.
-
Safety
Mandatory induction and periodic training on our own procedures and each client’s requirements.
-
Explosives
Handling, transport and storage under RENAR and ADR regulations, with traceability from magazine to face.
-
Technical training
In-house training of drillers and operators, alongside experienced staff.
